It looks like both the Range and EV Base slides have two levels which looks like it may limit what can fit flat on the slide. Has that caused any problems for you?

You may also want to check your ride height. After the update my R1T went to auto which meant it when to the low setting at freeway speeds which is a much less comfortable ride.

I completely agree. I’m like you I absolutely adore my R1T, but given how premium the vehicle is overall the fact that the cameras are such low quality is really frustrating. I would be completely fine with an upgrade path at my cost but I suspect that would make selling Gen2s a bigger challenge.

Obviously your call and your money but 60K is no big deal. Plenty of life left.

IMO the R1S either first or second generation is far superior to the Model X in so many ways- quality of materials, ride, off road capability, build quality etc…. Go ahead and compare price-wise but understand that IMO and virtually ever expert review out there the R1S is a far better vehicle.

So you are saying the lease payment would be as much as $500 more per month? That’s $18K over 36 months and you don’t own the vehicle. Even if it’s $300 that’s still $10.8K and again you don’t own the vehicle. If I’ve got that right I would most definitely stick with the 2024.

I didn’t read anything in the message from Rivian saying the ppf would be free. You got a free set of wheels isn’t that enough? A threat to take legal seems to be the way too many people want to resolve matters like this. Don’t leave the installation company holding the bag just pay up!

Not sure this is a big deal. I have an Apple Watch and an iPhone. I can’t remember the last time I had my watch on but didn’t have my phone with me. I can also use my Rivian wristband but so far I haven’t found a reason to use it. I suppose when working out it may be helpful.
