I'm being offered 46 even though I'm still on 38. Estimated update time is quoted as 55 min so I take that as being able to skip ahead. I'm still going to take my time and let some of y'all update first.
I just had to change a flat on my T a few days ago (large hunk of metal right in the middle of the tread on one of my 20 Pirellis) and can attest lifting the full size spare out of the well isn't super easy. And I'm 6'5 190 in relatively good shape. I definitely see how some people could use a...
My charger occasionally trips as well, though it has been 90% of the time when my wife's R1S is plugged in. My R1T trips the breaker maybe 1:50 charges. I have a 60a breaker and charge my R1T at 48a. Ive turned down my wife's R1S to 32a. Seems to help with her car tripping the circuit.
I've...
I just ran through several stations and all of them had only 1-2 chargers listed at 215 (and the rest 300). Could it be the pull-throughs they limited? Maybe to try and encourage people to preferentially use the others?
In my truck, setting the AC temp to 70 or less blows cold air, and 71 or more blows hot air. Pretty annoying bug.
This is regardless of the truck's inside temp.
This is what the middle seat protector looks like after a little slice and dice with the utility knife.
Note the two car seats on either side, which is why my son has to climb over the middle seat to go to and from his booster in the back. With no captain's chairs we have to work with what...
I have also noticed the nav consistently overestimates my energy usage on longer trips. For 200+ mile trips it usually estimates I will end with ~30 miles less range than I actually end up with.
As a note, I usually drive about 5-10mph over the speed limit, so it's not like I'm really trying...
Agree with others the floor liners are better than the seat back protectors. However, based on the sliding design of the R1S's 3rd row, I can't imagine there is a perfect solution.
For now I've installed them with the velcro on the back of the 2nd row. I plan to take the mat for the 3rd row...
I also had a similar front corner accident in a parking lot going less than 5 mph. 17k was the final bill after an initial estimate of 12ish. That was without any actual structural damage like in your case.
I too believe totaling your truck is in the insurance company's best interest. I bet...
I'll add my perspective of someone who has a R1T on 20s and R1S on 22s as well:
For the past year my T gets 2.1-2.3 when I drive my kids to and from school. S is ALWAYS worse. More like 1.8-2 for the roundtrip.
Both cars parked outside. Same stop and go shortish trip. Same average load. I...
There are at least 2 other threads about this. Seems to be widespread enough that if this really takes several hours per vehicle to repair it may strain some of the Service centers.
