Anybody else notice that the windows move a lot faster when auto opening/closing than they did previously? It wasnt in the release notes but I swear they got faster. However it could just be that my window tints have fully settled in.
The amount of improvements is really impressive regardless...
You don't have to leave that screen up to track it, the current ride height is displayed as bars on the driver screen directly next to the current drive mode image and it flashes when it is transitioning.
As others mentioned, it is optimizing height for range efficiency based upon primarily...
This. It's funny you say cheat code. That's exactly what I feel this vehicle is. It feels like it shouldn't exist. I've never been one for custom license plates but I've been considering getting 'cht code' as a license plate.
House of Wraps in Brighton. Really good prices and the work seems up to par with pricier shops. I was surprisingly his 3rd R1T. Granted the first 2 were right before mine. The PPF they use comes with a ceramic coat.
Before I got my R1T tinted it got quite hot when sitting in the Colorado sun for awhile. On a 90 degree day the interior would read 135-140 when I was at work and it was parked outside. I got the side windows tinted to 15% and the front windshield to 35% and left the rear windshield and roof...
Hmmm weird. It was not charging when I saw this the other night. It was only the red lights and appeared to only be in the direction of nearby motion but I'll have to pay more attention to be sure if it's that or a software issue.
Sweet. Hopefully mine comes soon too. Been a little over a week since I took delivery. However I'm not confident it will come to the right place. I also never got tracking info until after my wall charger was "delivered" (see below) so I can't make sure the other items are going to the right...
This. The lights appear to flash when motion is detected in that direction. Not totally clear if intentional or working incorrectly as it happens even when gear guard is off for me. I noticed it last night when I was sitting outside at a brewery with the truck in view. Everytime someone walked...

Interesting tidbit in there I wasn't aware of. Ford sold enough Rivian stock to get under 10% so they don't have to file a Form D with the SEC.
I love those normally but the trailer hitch on the Rivian is hidden behind a panel so you'd have to always have it removed even when not towing for the light to be visible.
I haven't been able to test it but it appears that the aerodynamic gain may more than make up for the added weight of around 150lbs as some other members on here have alluded to. I was on the fence and I'm very glad I got it. Looks like a significant amount of additional protection.
No the opposite. Underbody shield being more aerodynamic. Without it there are significantly more grooves and gaps underneath the vehicle for air to get trapped. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
Thanks!
Absolutely.
The underbody shield is completely flush and a bit darker (more carbon fiber?). When there isn't an underbody shield you can see grooves (almost stripes) and there's some significant recessed spots. This confirms to me what @CarterGee alluded to in his post a few weeks ago...
She's here!
My delivery was originally scheduled for later today but my guide reached out and asked if I could get off work early yesterday and take delivery.
I cannot get over how amazing the truck is. The sound system is phenomenal. My Hellcat had the upgraded Harmon Kardon system and this...
Nice congrats on taking delivery TOMORROW!
They actually reached out to me before it even opened online BUT I work all day 10+ hours today through Tuesday (joy of being a pharmacist) so pickup wasn't feasible. I'm good with it though. It would have just sat in my work parking lot and I have...
