It means they have a VIN for you (you can see it when you get to the insurance step). It may be at an SC, it may still be at the factory awaiting inspection, it may be on a truck somewhere. But it's been produced! Congrats!
No the opposite. Underbody shield being more aerodynamic. Without it there are significantly more grooves and gaps underneath the vehicle for air to get trapped. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
Wow. Does this mean we should see better mileage WITH the offload upgrade? I was specifically told it would be worse with the offoard upgrade by customer service. . . . . I don't have Off Road upgrade now, but if it meant slightly better range I might get it.

I haven't been able to test it but it appears that the aerodynamic gain may more than make up for the added weight of around 150lbs as some other members on here have alluded to. I was on the fence and I'm very glad I got it. Looks like a significant amount of additional protection.
The outer underbody shield is the same wether one has off road protection or not.
Nope. They texted me and requested loan information. The only paperwork came with the gentleman who inspected my car.
Per the employees at the SC, that is not the case nor did it appear that way when they showed me both ?‍
Ah ok. They aren’t coming to inspect it. Just pick it up. No loan here to worry about.
