I tried turning them off before leaving the vehicle, but it was often more annoying to me to need to turn them back on when I enter the vehicle again. So now I just leave things at Auto - Low.

I would absolutely love a quiet cabin. If that motor noise is faked, I'd be surprised, happily. The noise level is our biggest complaint of the Rivian. The Ioniq 5 in comparison is dead quiet inside and it's amazing.

Seems like a trade-in isn't exactly required.

Texas is the same. Whole city shutdown at the sight of snow or freezing rain. They also have a grid that fails right below subzero F temps, which is another story. Hope that they can retrofit their grid with weather resistant equipment because it's only going to get worse.

Great to hear multiple owners comment about the finish improvements as well as the in-cabin NVH improvements. NVH is probably my biggest gripe about my Gen 1. Awesome to see that configuration. The Gen 2 light changes are really growing on me. I really like the segmented sections. Looks nice...

You might need a service ticket. We're having about -10 to -20 C temps this week and my heater has had no problems. 2024 Gen 1.
