it’s a forum about expensive vehicles. The whole forum is “first world” topics lol The people here spent a pretty big chunk of money on a vehicle that at times doesn’t do basic things as well as cars 1/3 the price. I think it’s fair to complain.

Maybe there’s a happy medium between “I must have [random thing] in two hours” and “dang, three months until I can get an appointment at the service center”?

I signed up in large part for priority software updates. According to Rivian Roamer, 99% of Connect+ users are eligible for the latest update, and 8% of non-Connect+ users…but still nothing over here.

If I were buying today, I’d probably opt for the standard sound system and put the money I saved toward an aftermarket upgrade. The “Premium” is really disappointing. Twice we’ve had a Gen1 loaner with the Meridian audio and it’s so, so much better.

The time and temp displays are all the way on the right, and the text is tiny, making it difficult to read—especially at a glance while driving.

or, maybe Rivian can increase the font size to something that’s more readable—and thus safer—for everyone.

Ad me to the list of folks who want the time and temp text size to be much larger.

The Chilewich Mats are available for purchase on the shop for Gen2 models, but there are three colors: Sandstone, Dark Green, and Steel. Anyone know which color is the best match for the Ocean Coast interior? I think it's Steel, but maybe it's Standstone? Hard to tell from the photos in the shop.
