I thought the .47 was a huge step up from .43 but the more time I spend with it, I find the trebles and mids are still a touch muddy and the soundstage a touch centered. Still way better than before but still room for improvement

Unlike before the preset EQs actually seem to work- I am enjoying the Rock and Hip hop presets. Nonetheless, my custom EQ looks like this- the dip in 4K I’ve found instrumental in tempering the brightness of the system. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else has so far!

The sound tests are other guys. I am eagerly awaiting their results. For now it’s just what sounds good to my ears and crowd sourcing other people’s EQs. The new system needs a lot less finessing than the old one tho!

Yeah the atmos tracks are incredibly variable. Better to turn it off. The good atmos tracks do sound great though. Earth Wind and Fire’s September sound phenomenal. I also downloaded Tidal and started a free trial to see if there is any difference. There isn’t. Bad atmos tracks still sound bad...

Looks like it will be more classic / utilitarian in style and design as opposed to the Rivian which is a little more techy / futuristic. I imagine it will be one price rung below the the R1T. The SUV looks like it’ll be an R2 competitor.
