Stupid question: when I selected the exchange adapter it say $19x. Also the old one has to be picked up at my store?
How will shipping back the V1 work? Will they provide a box or I should use whatever paperbox I have?
So are these adapters made by Tesla in the state of NY or Rivian has other adapters sourced from China?
If so, will these adapters still cover warranty issues related to charging with them?
I am a bit confused(as usual)
The idea is pretty neat but I see a smaller issue with it.
My panels are always dirty to some degree (depending when was my truck washed the last time).
edit: maybe this can be solved by flipping them over. But for some reason the other side is also dirty (not as much as the outside though)...
Yes, I was thinking about efficiency but this should not matter that much (10% change?) as in the end of the day I am thinking about a solution for emergency cases only.
As for the solar generator I am planning to use it to "shape" my day of usage as well. And it is easier to keep that plugged...
So I was in similar situation and put some thoughts into this. Then some action early this month (trenching 18" deep for 2 conduits for ~40 feet, pulling a ton of beefy cables, etc) :D
My conclusion was that I pulled a 15A line from my garage to my basement (where my main panel lives). I put...
Happened to me just yesterday on I-94.
Was tired and did not turn my head to the left to see the car parallel with me.
As soon as I turned on the left indicator both audio and visual warnings told me there is a car.
Excellent safety feature. Exactly the opposite of "Major safety issue"
I wonder as they have my card info then will they automatically enroll me after the free trial and I need to cancel it beforehand to avoid the first payment to happen or the subscription will automatically cancel after the free trial.
Based on all other subscription plans it might be the former...
My setup might be the sketchiest out there but 'hey it works!' :lipssealed:
I grabbed a piece of a wood pallet.
At least it is space efficient :sun:
I would love to have a jack base like @cwintermeyer 's but not for $60 :O
@ReyvaRivian : thank you so much for the opportunity!
Unfortunately I just forgot to update the thread this morning to 'Pending'.
I have a meet up for all the wheels on July 30th. If that goes thru I will set this thread to 'Sold'.
If for any reason that deal would not happen I will contact...
@Therivianguy : would it be possible to create an open google spreadsheet (or anything online and free) where we can see (or put into for that matter :)) our pre-orders?
I put a message here for an R1T pre-order a while back. But I think one might argue about some lack of traceability and...
I think the CT "sales" data includes a lot of "non-private" sales.
For example a recent video about SpaceX showed it full with CTs utilized as "work trucks".
So probably the Musk related businesses trying to gobble up as much as they can of the produced CTs .
Which makes sense but distorts the...
It is a good practice to wait until vehicle is basically stand still but no need to press the brakes.
But as the others said you can shift any time you want, vehicle will tell you if it is unhappy about it.
I shift while my R1 is still rolling very very low speed and it does not feel to make...
