I suspect you're talking about the Portland Service Center. Good news, the Service Advisors there are super solid and great to work with.
It has been my experience that the Service Centers don't hold loaners for people, and they can't predict when one will be returned, but they will do...
Sadly, I am discovering that the price of livin' just ain't what it used to be. I agree, the price is a little steep for a matte black Squatch, but it's pretty unique and the ol' Fred has to be grateful for something.
I won't lie, painting it took a little time and I would have loved a...
Absolutely. I put it in the first message, but it's hyperlinked and not always obvious. The actual link is here:

May Sasquatch guide your path by day and pour your bourbon by night.
I come bearing good news: the Grateful Fred Sasquatch is designed as an auto emblem and it has 3M adhesive tape on the back. Super easy and it holds firmly.
Squatch on!
Why have the boring when you can have something waaaayyyyyy more badass?
Matte black "The Sasquatch Badge" from Grateful Fred + some Rivian touch up paints that I already had + some oil-based pens from Amazon = a badass Launch Green Edition Sasquatch.
No more envy for the Quad Gary badge...
I couldn’t agree more. Unfortunately, Vail Resorts is in a multi-year contract with Toyota as their vehicle sponsor (more details are in a post I wrote on page one of this thread). I suspect this is true for most of the ski resorts in the US. Rivian was probably lucky to get Big Sky at all.
One consideration on this Rivian/Big Sky partnership is that a lot of resorts already have existing, exclusive relationships with Toyota and Subaru (and others), so it's not likely an easy partnership for Rivian to create. Toyota is the official vehicle partner with many resorts and that extends...
I think the crate offers some protection, but not a great deal of it. It chiefly serves three purposes:
+ it keeps the hair confined to her crate so the cabin doesn't feel too "doggy" (when I need to, I can break down the crate and put it away and you'd never know a dog goes with me everywhere...
If it makes you feel like you've got company, I've had this issue in both my Rivians ('24 R1T Dual and my current '23 R1S LE Quad) at different times. It's pretty frustrating and inconsistent, so I get it.
I attribute it to software bugs that I hope get addressed in a future update. In the...
I just used scrap 2x4s and scrap plywood. Very basic set up with some leftover indoor-outdoor carpet that I had from another project to round it off.
As for dimensions, here are some rough measurements with the carpet adding a little to each side:
Top: 9"x17"
Height: 14.5"
And, because...

Good luck!
I agree with @mikehmb on this, a wonderful dream, but it's not at all in Rivian's focus target towards profitability for the foreseeable future.
When the R1 Gen 4 is out? The R2? The R3X? And the whispered about R4 (and beyond)? I could see it, but not for many years and not until Rivian...
I live/love to ski all over the west, but especially my home base resort. I'm thankful for Quadzilla for always getting me there and for all the good people who work at Mt Hood Meadows and a dozen other resorts in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Montana, and California for making it all happen...
