My early impression Tidal sounds much much better than spotify. Sounds seems fuller, more bass and very clear mids. Just be sure to go to the settings and use highest quality streaming. And use tidal hifi+

I also noticed a dramatic change, so far I've only driven it in all purpose mode, and the car feels much much smoother. Noticeably less bouncy but still soft luxurious drive. I'm kinda suprised just an update can change the drive so much. Will try it in sport mode later today...

TIdal isn't a startup, it's owned by Block. But yeah very possible Block paid Rivian. If it's tidal High Fidelity, great! But yeah we still need Apple Music and text on screen. Otherwise, amazing update, finally able to change volumes and improved Drive mode's awesome!

130 on any empty highway remains illegal and reckless driving, not just speeding. 0-60 acceleration in 3.0 is not illegal, obviously you have to do it safely and not be racing, cutting people off, etc. Weird you would compare 0-60 in a crowded city vs 130 on an empty highway, neither should be...

So wait a 0.5 second acceleration difference doesn't matter? But the 110 limiter does? Hmmm..now that sounds silly. I use the acceleration on my R1S everyday, and yes it matters, not for safety reasons, for fun reasons.

It's not illegal to accelerate 0-60 in 3 seconds flat, but 130 on a freeway is. Not sure why everyone is worried about this limiter, but maybe in the future a geo-fenced option would be good.

I don’t think anyone disagrees with geofenced options in the future. However, the point is for C&D to emphasize the 110 limiter and demphasize where Rivian excels such as 0-60 times is silly. Remeber when you get a Rivian what your complaining about today may be fixed as early as tomorrow...

Great summary and I agree, trivial complaints by C&D are indications some major funding must be from BMW and not Rivian. I agree 111 MPH, it's more shocking with all the rules, that there isn't a rule for electronically limiting the speed of cars. Rivian probably did this for obvious safety...

Dude where are you getting your data? From BMW’s own site the ix m60 0-60 is 3.6 seconds, get your data right.
