Software update/ride improvement/R1S

After loading the new software update, I was struck by the major change in the ride of my R1S. It is much smoother and more compliant at low speeds with no change in the excellent handling.

The porpoising that some have complained about in the R1S also seems largely to have gone away. I wonder whether that was a Rivian goal for the update.

Curious to hear the reactions of others to the update.

I also noticed a dramatic change, so far I've only driven it in all purpose mode, and the car feels much much smoother. Noticeably less bouncy but still soft luxurious drive. I'm kinda suprised just an update can change the drive so much. Will try it in sport mode later today...

This morning, in my R1T, I was thinking the same thing. I think the ride is noticeably improved. (Highway driving, in Conserve)

Agree for my R1S. Took her out for a 25% of battery spin on and off highway. Soaks up the bumps really well in all purpose mode and tracks much smoother.

Paging @Pixelshot to comment on whether the update has closed the gap in handling/porpoising between the R1T and R1S - especially for those of us considering a switch to the R1S.

I drove it in sport mode today- in some ways the improvement in ride is even more noticeable. It is tied down but the damping is noticeably better, much less harshness.
