180+kWh battery. I don’t think they’ll do that, but whatever truck ships with that and decent charging speed will get my money. I love my R1, but it’s painful towing longer distance.
Do you have daily preconditioning set in the phone app? That might be what’s returning it back all the time.
I had to adjust my preconditioning schedule now that the weather changed.
Back in the old days ABRP used to just have a little + and - button to allow you to manually update the SoC as you drove. It still was able to build an accurate vehicle model that way over time. A live and automated version of that (this integration) is certainly a lot better. Mine seems to...
There isn’t as much utility here anymore. The Rivian route planner in the car is very good. (No surprise, as they bought ABRP)
When I first set this up, that wasn’t the case.
How is level 2 home charging relevant in a L3 charging thread?
If I'm charging overnight at home, what do I care? (It's 11kW though, because that's as fast as it can be without forking out for L3 at home).
I have one of these. It’s the right length, it leaves room for the safety chains, it has a pin as a safety backup to the locking mechanism, and the lock cylinder is well regarded by the lock picking lawyer.

Here’s a capture of the battery voltage.
On the left region is where the trailer was connected to the Rivian, but parked. You can see the spikes while charging, and a pretty steep slope discharging between charges. Then on the vast majority of the plot, you can see what the trailer battery...
I have an Aerovault trailer that has its own battery for interior lights and a winch. It’s wired from the manufacturer directly to the 7 pin connector as well, so it will charge from the tow vehicle.
I’ve been using this trailer with the Rivian for a while, and haven’t had any problems. The...
Exactly this. I’ve found that what really makes me satisfied with bass is not volume, it’s properly low reaching frequency.
It’s unfortunate that the Rivian EQ has something like 63 Hz as the lowest slider. Turning that up only makes it sound worse, and doesn’t address the problem.
Mine has done this since day one (20000 miles and almost two years). I left my truck with them for a month last fall, and they still couldn’t fix it. They replaced my shock, an upper control arm, and even retrofit the new cast front subframe to replace the original weldment front subframe. It...
Exactly. One pedal driving is good for certain situations, but not all. I prefer one pedal braking. Splitting brake performance across two pedals isn’t always a good thing. I think Porsche is well aware, given their niche target.
Rivian is just as bad, but in the opposite direction. Why force me to not be able to coast on the highway? Why is the lowest off-accelerator regen level still so high?
I agree with you that not giving a choice is no good. I don’t share your preference though.
When I’m towing, regen isn’t...
