Did they say much about the guide contact process? How much time from contact to delivery?

Hopefully you can get some info out of them. Feb/Mar window here. So I don't expect to be hearing anything before the Jan/Feb folks (and mine is an R1S).

Except it's Christmas....so could be just as easily the neighbour's son/daughter-in-law visiting from Vancouver. I would be surprised (but hey - it's Rivian....so who knows) if they delivered an R1T to someone living in Kamloops that far from the service center this early.

Are either of them employees in Vancouver? Curious if they have started non-employee deliveries here yet.

Yikes those rates. Is that what other new car rates are these days from other brands that don't discount rates? I know the 0%, 1 or 2% rates were mostly the brand paying the bank the difference. But are the other ones that high too??

We have a Honda pilot (family hauler) and a model 3. In Dec 2018 we pre-ordered the R1S to replace the Pilot. We bought the 3 in 2019 and have been using it as much as we can (4 kids...so we can't use it when we all go out). In 2021 we decided to put a deposit down on the R1T to replace the 3...

I have Feb-Mar for my R1S. They also wanted to deliver my R1T (that I ordered 2.5 years after the R1S) in the same window. But I can't take both at the same time so I switched the R1T to a max pack for now to delay it.

I have Glacier White configured on my R1S. But Forest Green is my 2nd choice. I really liked El Cap when I saw it in-person in Venice on an R1T (and I still have that configured on my R1T as a result). I wish we had seen Forest Green in person (ideally near a Glacier White) to help decide.

I'm not sure when they are going to do test drives here. First up is the show and tell.later this month. But I don't expect test drives to start here before deliveries (to customers) does. Similar to US where earliest deliveries happened before test drives were even offered.

From they Rivian Stories interview with Tony - Tony said that anyone who has a reservation but NOT a configuration did not get a delivery date yet.

Nice - when was your pre-order? And is that a LE or Adventure? Might be one of the first non-employee deliveries! Curious if anyone who got a Dec-Jan 2023 update in July is still holding on to that December now or if they all slipped to January.

Where are you located? BC? That looks like a BC window given what the rest of the country is seeing.

At least they are finally being realistic about the lack of service centers in Canada. But frustrating they waited this long to admit it.

Yeah - those signs look like the ones used at US service centers when they had a number of R1 vehicles in the lot and they were denoting which ones were in what phase of prep for delivery. We are almost there!
