Doesn't the Ford EVSE also provide V2H charging? That seems like a pretty good bonus feature to use that charger over the Rivian one. Rivian said they will release an EVSE "later" that will provide V2H capabilities too. But for now - the Rivian EVSE is just a basic (but good looking) EVSE...

Oh no...the next session will be related to the "updated" delivery windows next week. Or, if they miss their self imposed date yet again....the lack of windows will be the topic. One of the 2. ?

The update is coming by end of Oct. The Oct 16 date was that any delivery window you get (by end of Oct) will be based on the configuration you had as of Oct 16.

Thanks. Sorry I didn't add the address/location in my comment above. I wasn't sure where it was myself as I am on the island. I assumed it may be the yaletown location, but Tony didn't actually say *where* the customer engagement center was.

I didn't think of that. Yeah - thats probably what it is (and that would still be great!). What was first in the US: Test drive events (central location, people came out to it) or where they showed up at your house for a test drive? Hopefully the "at your house" test drives....

That last part is exciting. Don't want to get my hopes up. Because. Rivian. But - it would be great to hear something concrete about Canadian deliveries soon! The earliest windows were Dec/Jan for some early R1Ts in BC. I could see them delivering some R1T/R1S to their employees in...

Unfortunately I was not at all surprised either. Would love to know whether these are minor issues and they are still on track for the delivery windows already sent. Or if this is a major setback. Given Rivian's communication track record - even if it meant a huge delay, we wouldn't know...

That is my situation as well. We had an R1S LE (July-Sept) and R1T Adv (Oct-Dec). We got an updated date for our R1S (1H 2023). But nothing for the R1T aside from "you'll hear more by end of summer". Would be nice to know if its 1H 2023, 2H 2023 or 2024 for planning.

I was sure you were trolling us. So they are going to miss both the date AND deliverable that they, themselves, set a few months ago. That is......wow. So much for their repeated promise to improve communications.

I know the OP didn't have the re-enforced underbody. Did everyone else having issues with missing or loose fasteners also have the standard underbody panels?

We have a 6-bike Velocirax (https://www.velocirax.com/) unit for our Honda Pilot. It has no problem with clearance when our (full) hatch is open on the Pilot But I'm not sure yet how it will work for the split-hatch on the R1S. They do sell adaptors for the hitch to extend it out for...

Yeah - it definitely looks like 2023 to me. But I agree that this is most likely one of the office's fleet vehicles. I doubt they delivered R1Ts to Canadian employees in Feb 2022. However, I *do* expect to see Canadian employees getting delivery later this fall ahead of the Dec/Jan windows...
