  1. Recall: Headlights Aimed Too Low on R1T, R1S, EDV (6/1/24)

I took mine in on the recall, and they were heavily adjusted, mine were terribly low, i had maybe 20 feet of lit up road in front of me, (outside of metropolitan areas). end result after service center appointment is vastly different. also as part of this, my understanding is they need...
  2. Peterborough Supercharging

So far I've used the peterborough, brantford and nepean super charger locations, with the A2Z adapter. Have seen prices as high as 90c kwh (Time of day matters as well) One thing that i have noticed, is there are definitely some super chargers (ie lime ridge mall in hamilton) that aren't...
  3. Anybody in Toronto interested in TuxMat floor liners?

Hi 2nd visit was today, Tuxmat was happy with the fit for their first test mats So they officially know the measurements now, they said it could still be 6-8 weeks before they offer them through their website to the masses, they need to manufacture some first. they did/provided me , frunk...
  4. anyone do financing through scotiabank?

I financed some through SB, I had no payment issues like that, that said, I was on biweekly payment schedule, and I guess based on the timing , the first payment didn’t come out for 3 weeks, but I knew the first date ahead of time, not sure if you should consider yourself lucky or not
  5. Recall: Headlights Aimed Too Low on R1T, R1S, EDV (6/1/24)

Mine are definitely aimed low, night driving without brights is almost impossible, I’m in Ottawa , and was waiting for Montreal service Center to become active before asking for service, but I’m back in Toronto for a Tuxmat fitting (I’m their prototype) in a couple weeks, so have scheduled it...
  6. How is DC fast charging going for my Canadian R1 drivers?

Last week went from Ottawa to Toronto, and was on latest update at the time, was able to charge at Electrify America @Can Tire in Scarborough located at McCowan/sheppard (was best performing kw/h wise that I have used thus far and also substabtially more expensive than the others Shell...
  7. My Purchase Experience

Just a few little items to update, and things I had a hard time confirming prior to purchase R1T licensed in Ontario because of its weight and the fact it’s a pickup, gets black plates , and a 250.00+ fee a year for licensing charging in Canada away from home, is well super frustrating...
  8. Anybody in Toronto interested in TuxMat floor liners?

:), woke up at 340am to come from Ottawa for a 9am appointment , and battled long charging times at a Petro-Canada Canada in Napanee, vs having enough range to get to tuxmat by 9am, had 14% left :)….luckily the EA station down the road from tuxmat didn’t discriminate against my truck, after I...
  9. Anybody in Toronto interested in TuxMat floor liners?

I just scanned my R1T at tuxmat today, they did say that the Frunk and front row measure a bit differently than the R1S, I know some have seen videos on YouTube where R1s mats for front have been put in an R1T It will be 6 weeks ish before their prototype is built and tested against my truck...

  12. My Purchase Experience

Picked up on Saturday with a guided experience. No issues there, but about 16 hours before i picked up, I was told the powered tonneau config i ordered, was not yet available, and would be something that rivian adds to my truck later (I assumed it came with it from the beginning) . this is...
  13. My Purchase Experience

that's unfortunate, My total is 3164.00 I didn't have any cargo fee as part of my transaction summary, or purchase agreement, see below image for my list of fees
  14. My Purchase Experience

Yes , in the portal there is a transaction summary, and within there is a fee section, it will also be broken down in the purchasing contract document , that requires signing, when you get to that stage
  15. My Purchase Experience

Good afternoon (sorry this will be long) Been a pre-order holder since August 2020. Live in Ottawa, and have had access to the shop since late december, but wasn't in a hurry to get a new vehicle in middle of winter, and this also allowed more time to stockpile some liquidity. Last week we...
  16. Updated Canadian Delivery Windows

how does one even see the expected delivery window (month estimate) ?
  17. Had call with Rivian Guide, delay on Ocean Coast interior

ocean coast or forest edge = +$2000.00 option/upgrade for anyone after March 1st, so presumably either its more costly to obtain the materials for those, or theres a cost to refactor the assembly line processes to accommodate them. so I wonder if rivian is just trying to push people away...
  18. Long demo video of touchscreen display, UI, digital instrument cluster

hmm not sure if that makes it better or worst, the fact that instagram and tiktok endorse/encourage vertically recorded videos , just indicates the scale of such nonsense
  19. Long demo video of touchscreen display, UI, digital instrument cluster

I find it amazing that lots of people record videos vertically, as if they have never ever tried to watch a video before in their life.....for a suppossed superior being that we are assumed to be, we are also very dumb at times too
