They're a huge improvement over the factory Pirellis and I'm glad I went this direction. I have 3500 miles on them and don't have enough great things to say. I've noticed a substantial increase in ride comfort and a decrease in overall road noise. Tire noise around 70-75 was a wheel balance...
All aftermarket running board kits have coated hardware, that interface with the underbody on a coated surface. When installed properly, hardware will not move or shift, which will ensure coating on either surface remains intact. You shouldn't have any issues. Should you still have a concern...
For those with running boards or rock sliders, my longtime family friend Danny Delsignore owns an everything auto and fabrication shop out in Bluemont, VA and is doing running board or slider installations for $300. Additionally, if you are in the shop for running board installation, he can do a...
Do you have a set of jack pucks? If so, roll over to GT Peace in Chantilly. I know it’s not Arlington area, but they have experience with Rivians.
Also, a plug job is rather straight forward, if you can identify a leak by puncture from a nail or screw. Plenty of DIY vids on YouTube to follow...
I have a brand new single 22” Pirelli available for sale. Pulled it from a 22” spare when I replaced all 4 tires + spare with Continentals.
Should you have better luck finding singles versus a set…

I got the update around noon yesterday (1/09/2024). The auto wiper sensitivity was rather timely and a worthwhile update, especially with the massive amounts of rain that we encountered.
My new purchase was at pre-order pricing. Rivian processed a full-price buyback, essentially I didn't lose or make anything on the trade-in. For new vehicle selection, I ended up getting something out that was already in-production, unspoken for. At the time, the R1 shop didn't have much...
I highly recommend you go find an independent shop that has a RoadForce balancer, especially for winter/snow tires. You'll probably pay the same (or less) going to an independent shop.
You will also need as set of jack pucks if going to an independent shop.
Depends on the product tbh. If you’re talking about smaller accessories, they’re probably repackaged goods from overseas. There are a handful of items they’ve designed and manufactured in the USA.
There were/are known issues with the commercial lifters and Rivians. I don’t recall if a fix was ever identified, but I know few with other style doors had to get new remotes in order for the pairing process to recognize the signal.
