  1. Which R1S Running Boards?

I don’t have an R1S, but have EV Sportline running boards on my T, and love them. Excellent quality, very sturdy, and USA made. EVBase and Hansshow are identical to each other (clones) and don’t feel as solid compared to EV Sportline. I haven’t seen RPM in person, and I dislike the design and...
  2. T55 bolt removal for running board install

Rivian TP55 bolts are torqued to 80 ft-lbs. For torque specs related to your installation hardware, refer to the manufacturer/vendor installation manual.
  3. T55 bolt removal for running board install

You don’t need penetrating oil. As long as you have the correct bit, ratchet and breaker bar, you’re all set. I’d also recommend you buy/rent/borrow a torque wrench for reinstallation of the bolts. Also be ready for some emergency modification of your mounting hardware. One bolt on my truck...
  4. Suggestions for headliner and seat cleaning supplies?

P&S Xpress Interior Cleaner, diluted 1:1 with distilled or RO water only. Apply with a clean lint-free microfiber towel onto any interior surface, excluding wood trim. You can agitate areas with an soft bristle interior detailing brush, for hard to reach areas, or to exfoliate a stain from...
  5. Tesla to open Supercharger network to Ford and GM in February 2024

Well, a software update + a NACS > CCS adapter, which we know nothing about yet :D
  6. 12V Outlet Connector (Gear Tunnel) Part # Number?

It’s a standard 12V outlet harness connector. You can source them from a number of places. Last I checked, the 12V outlets are on a 15A circuit.

    DMV Rivian Owners

Nice! Glad they took care of you quickly. I have no doubt you'll get that range if not more on the ATs. For us 22" folks, we have it rough. Rivian basically admits they are seeing 10-15k on the 22" Pirellis (on average).
  9. Water draining into electrical underneath cabin filter cover.

Water doesn’t pour into that compartment, it trickles in. All critical connections are using sealed connectors. Every thing else can get wet. No big deal. If you really wanted to, you could hose everything off under that upper trim piece.
  10. A few new additions, plus a sneak peek of the Megawatt R1S Performance Rock Sliders for R1S

I would say the color is most like charcoal, but with a satin finish.

  12. 22" Inch Tire Options

I'll chime in with the Continental TerrainContact H/T option for 22" wheels, which already feel like a huge improvement over stock Pirellis. Ride is smoother, although they are a bit noisy around 70-75mph (not so much below and above that range).
  13. Virginia [SOLD] 22” Pirelli Scorpion Tire - HL275/50R22

Brand new tire for 22” Sport wheels. $400 SHIPPED SOLD
  14. 24" wheels on R1S

The ride quality will definitely take a huge dump. Can't imagine the range impact as well. Factor all costs as well. Those tires look expensive!
  15. Can I only get an alignment at a service center?

So, I've been through many alignments with my R1T and here's what I can say... TL;DR, 3rd party shops can do alignments, and while they may be within spec for what Hunter alignment machines provide, they will most likely not match up to what Rivian does when the truck is set to their alignment...
  16. De Walt chargers?

If it’s not Milwaukee, I’m not buying it :CWL:
  17. List of compatible tires (for each Rivian factory wheel diameter)

If the winter gods bless Northern VA with a decent winter, yes most definitely :D
  18. Has anyone's powered Tonneau been fixed yet?

Many within our local Facebook group reported appointments being scheduled, which was accompanied with confirmation by a Rivian mobile service tech. The same mobile service tech mentioned PTC retrofits may begin (for manual and no PTC owners) early 2025.
  19. What does Tire Change Mode do?

This. And has @Dark-Fx mentioned, you don't technically need to be in off-road highest to use tire-change mode, but I definitely recommend it when changing tires using a floor jack or a lift. Matter of fact, my recent Rivian mobile service tech informed me that if we're doing alignments at 3rd...
