I don’t have an R1S, but have EV Sportline running boards on my T, and love them. Excellent quality, very sturdy, and USA made.
EVBase and Hansshow are identical to each other (clones) and don’t feel as solid compared to EV Sportline.
I haven’t seen RPM in person, and I dislike the design and...
Rivian TP55 bolts are torqued to 80 ft-lbs.
For torque specs related to your installation hardware, refer to the manufacturer/vendor installation manual.
You don’t need penetrating oil.
As long as you have the correct bit, ratchet and breaker bar, you’re all set. I’d also recommend you buy/rent/borrow a torque wrench for reinstallation of the bolts.
Also be ready for some emergency modification of your mounting hardware. One bolt on my truck...

Nice! Glad they took care of you quickly. I have no doubt you'll get that range if not more on the ATs. For us 22" folks, we have it rough. Rivian basically admits they are seeing 10-15k on the 22" Pirellis (on average).
Water doesn’t pour into that compartment, it trickles in. All critical connections are using sealed connectors. Every thing else can get wet. No big deal.
If you really wanted to, you could hose everything off under that upper trim piece.
I'll chime in with the Continental TerrainContact H/T option for 22" wheels, which already feel like a huge improvement over stock Pirellis. Ride is smoother, although they are a bit noisy around 70-75mph (not so much below and above that range).
So, I've been through many alignments with my R1T and here's what I can say...
TL;DR, 3rd party shops can do alignments, and while they may be within spec for what Hunter alignment machines provide, they will most likely not match up to what Rivian does when the truck is set to their alignment...
Many within our local Facebook group reported appointments being scheduled, which was accompanied with confirmation by a Rivian mobile service tech.
The same mobile service tech mentioned PTC retrofits may begin (for manual and no PTC owners) early 2025.
This.
And has @Dark-Fx mentioned, you don't technically need to be in off-road highest to use tire-change mode, but I definitely recommend it when changing tires using a floor jack or a lift.
Matter of fact, my recent Rivian mobile service tech informed me that if we're doing alignments at 3rd...
