Solves a lot of problems. Except one - you’re still constrained by Bluetooth streaming for audio which doesn’t maximize the capabilities of the Meridian sound system. Nicely done though!
Seems a bit of a shitshow with the third party vendor they are using. I realize they are trying to be helpful, but I would have preferred to just take the vehicle purchase contract to DMV and do it myself.
My local DMV actually has has sloth mascot ?. Gotta love self-deprecating humor.
In many states it’s illegal to resell electricity. So charging by the minute is the only option they have. I’m sure EA would prefer to sell per kWh transferred everywhere since that more closely matches their costs. But they can’t.
That’s what I suspected. Thanks for clarifying, and I did set up the auto reload after I got home from that trip. Hopefully the next attempt will be more better. ?
If you’re in a state where EA has to charge by the minute vs. kW, using the 350kW charger can also save you money in addition to time. For that portion of the charge curve where you’re at or above 200kW, it’s 25% cheaper for the same amount of juice vs 150kW charger. .
I had an issue where an EA charger in Evanston, WY worked for me on the outbound leg of a trip, but not on the return a few hours later. I chalked it up to user error since I’d had an issue with fraud on my credit card and the card issuer may have denied it. I didn’t need the charge to get...
Same here when streaming Pandora via Bluetooth from my phone. Connects and pulls it up automatically, but I have to push the play button to start it.
The other annoying thing for me is that there didn’t seem to be a way to get the floating window to move or minimize when using Bluetooth. Thus...
I paid a little more attention to this yesterday, and did notice that when you disengage ACC by tapping the brake, the regen brakes don’t immediately engage. It sort of coasts for a second and then engages.
You speed up. Best option I’ve found is to leave adaptive cruise active and just take over the steering I you need to do a lane change. If you are canceling adaptive cruise intentionally, chances are you want to slow down anyhow. You just need to be ready to control braking with the go pedal...
I have another question regarding plates. Many states give you a variety of plate styles to select from. UT is one of them. But no one from arivian ever asked which style I might prefer. Has anyone else encountered this, and if so we’re you able to successfully let them know what style you...
Sounds more like balance issue to me. Have you been off-roading or hit any big bumps? That can sometimes cause wheel weights to come off. Regardless, you’re probably about due for a rotation and balance anyhow.
