I charge from solar and have recently had excess capacity so I have been charging to 85%. I have noticed that my R1 sleeps for 8+ hours. Is there any truth to this or purely coincidental?
The answer to the $200 “inspection” is do it less frequently or maybe they will charge twice as much to capture the same revenue. I will continue to rotate every 7500 miles..and hopefully mobile service can do comprehensive. This tells me they are ramping up for R2 launch and cannot service as...
Yes..I wish I had footage..also I am the person who is honked at for waiting 10 seconds at a green light. I am not sure if it is my city or everywhere but red lights are no longer even a suggestion. I wait patiently because someone will run the red light.
Yes..I reported it to the port. But of course nobody takes responsibility. The port says the rail owns it, the rail says the port owns it. Obviously nobody cares
My biggest ‘change’ is making sure to stay at hotels with charging. Even if parking is more expensive I prefer to let it charge to 100 overnight and possibly skip a fast charge the next day
curious if rivian could do an R1 without air suspension and cut interior costs and get a sub 70k R1? It could be a no-mans land place. Or do they need to go worktruck route and get prices sub 50? Although if they get too cheap they begin to cannibalize r2 sales.
I am out of town and ran a little experiment. My charger uses roughly 6kwh per day. I am throwing away $200/year. Other than using my breaker box, is there a way to power off my Rivian Charger? Also if not does anyone have a charger that powers down?
