Cannot comment on this combo but I am always surprised by the love of limestone/FE. I would think that ECG/FE will be great together. Based on the FE owners’ reactions, you cannot go wrong with FE.
I am sticking with quad for the extra year of warranty, plus the additional drive modes. And $500 did not seem like enough to sway me. $2500 would have made me reconsider.
Curious to see how the 4cylinder hybrid does. Still of the mindset that a hybrid may help with gas mileage but otherwise I am still maintaining an ICE.
I currently have a pre-price hike R1S reservation. My price is roughly 75k. I am considering placing a second reservation for a dual motor. Should I just switch to the dual-motor or keep the quad? Am I overthinking my 20k savings on the quad? i was dead-set on just keeping the quad but I keep...
Really wanted a bit more range but now switching to dual is making less and less sense. Save $500 and lose a year of warranty. Weird that rivian has less trust in their in-house motors.
Yes. TX charges sales tax at point of sale and La charges at registration unless you can get a dealer to invoice across state lines. When I bought my Tesla I had to drive 5 hrs to MS instead of two hours to TX.
I am 2 hours from Houston. With no dealer network, Louisiana residents cannot take delivery in TX without paying sales tax twice. I will be interested to see if Rivian still charges for home delivery.
Glad you enjoyed LC and Crying Eagle. Original rumor was RAN would be put on our lakefront. I hope Rivian or the city adds chargers there on day. It is a much better view than target.
