I currently have a pre-price hike R1S reservation. My price is roughly 75k. I am considering placing a second reservation for a dual motor. Should I just switch to the dual-motor or keep the quad? Am I overthinking my 20k savings on the quad? i was dead-set on just keeping the quad but I keep thinking that the dual makes more sense. But then, the dual loses a year of warranty.

You don't carry any pre price hike charity with you when switching to dual. I think the only thing you gain is just being a longer term reservation so maybe fulfillment sooner.

I would be curious if a new dual motor reservation is delivered before a pre-price hike quad.

At that price, keep the quad. The quad is AWD all the time unless you manually switch to conserve mode (FWD). In the dual motor, the default is FWD, you only get AWD when the computer decides you need it.

100% get the quad. For reasons above. Just can’t beat it - especially pre-price hike.
