  2. Sport Mode improvement via Update 2025.26 - what's your experience?

Make sure you are connected to your home/work Wi-Fi. I wasn’t getting point-26 until I connected with my home Wi-Fi. As soon as I connected, I was notified of the update.
  3. Rivian Q2 2025 Earnings Results

Tesla was built on the back of the sale of ”credits” to other manufacturers to make the EPA happy. Vehicles are an aside.

SDH, there’s a new SC in Duncan, SC, that is much closer than RIC or ATL.
  5. Non-RIVIAN shops (chains) that perform alignment? - who have you use with success? RIVIAN just can't get mine right

There is no way that an alignment can be performed for the various suspension heights possible with your Rivian. Each time you change your suspension height, suspension, geometry changes which, in turn, contributes to excess tire wear. I aligned my G1 R1T at all purpose, low height and that’s...
  6. 2025.22 Update - Release Notes

Ben Franklin invented this thing called bifocals in 1785 and they work ... terrific for me.

  8. 2025.22 Update - Release Notes

Another thing Rivian can do software-wise is to add a “Conserve” mode driven by the front motor only and change the current ”All-Purpose” to include both motors 100% of the time. Good-bye clunk.
  9. 2025.22 Update - Release Notes

The dual motor clunk is ridiculous … and more so since Rivian has not addressed it. An easy software fix would be to add a Conserve mode with front wheel drive only for highway travel. Then, change AP mode to make both motors be constantly on. Rivian does this with my R1T Quad and I can’t see...
  10. Tesla Supercharger Charging

$12.99 monthly Subscription discount varies from site to site and time of day at some also. Typical discount is between 0.11 and 0.15 per kW. So savings and break even will vary from SC to SC.
  11. Tesla Supercharger Charging

As mentioned above, break even is about 100kW. A fairly low threshold with just a couple of SC sessions.
  12. Gen 2 Max Pack Fast Charging Speed with 2025.18.01 Update

I am one who is claiming improvement in both my G1 Large T and S. Of course, some variation exists between Tesla SC sites (and even between stalls) but my unscientific observation using the same SC stall (3D in Hendersonville NC) pre-18.01 and post-, max kW holds longer (mid- to late 40’s%) AND...
  13. New Ladson, SC service center

If not, I can highly recommend the Duncan SC.
  14. Gen 2 Max Pack Fast Charging Speed with 2025.18.01 Update

As reported in an earlier post, my Gen 1 Large charge profile is very close to this graph even though the documentation refers to Gen 2 only.
  15. Gen 2 Max Pack Fast Charging Speed with 2025.18.01 Update

Anecdotally, My Gen 1 Large charge appears to mirror the Gen 2 Large increase. Starts at 215kW until mid 40’s and the slowly ramps down (as cooling fans kick on) and will hold at least 140-150 through 70%. That was on a Tesla SC this morning and is seat-of-the pants quicker than pre 18.01.
