Similar thing happened to me. It was the first sign of the 12V batteries going bad...it can cause voltage variations during the startup that can trigger various "false" errors. Have your 12V batteries checked. My random errors have gone away after having my 12V batteries replaced.

I'm doing some research to see how we can better keep our 12 V battery system "healthy". I think the current Rivian recharging system to keep the 12V system properly charged is inadequate and that's why we are seeing so many 12V battery failures.

The Motor Fault Detected code came up on my truck also this morning. I called customer service and did a system reset which cleared the code. No issues up till now. I wonder if it's related to the recent update?

Anyone know how to uninstall this ball mount safely? I didn't want to force anything in the wrong direction and break something...like the two very expensive screens that this mount is installed in-between.
