Ah, just crossed SD on I-90 by using only Tesla just less than a week ago. Actually ended up using only Tesla from MN to north of Seattle 130 miles.

It cuts out on a regular basis. In my recent 2 x-countries, I can not count the times it stopped working on interstates and 2 lane state highways. It ALWAYS re-engaged after dropping off. It's just an inconvenience that hopefully will be corrected in the future.

My route going east was pretty much I-80 which had better EV charging than we did coming back to WA. Of course, on the return trip my son and granddaughter did most of the driving and worked finding chargers using all the tools available to find charging on I-90 and I-94.

The entire trip was 6000 miles. Half that in 4 days.
