Thank you for your reply. Sometimes when switching to Spotify it will fail to download. Switching off music and back to music usually refreshes something and it works. Fairly intermittent though.
My Rivian fails to "wake up" upon sending a command through the app.
Most of the time, when I use the Rivian app I can never get my R1T pass the "waking" stage. I'll force quit the app or switch off Wi-Fi thinking that might help. It never does. Doesn't seem to matter if the truck is plugged...
I mostly charge at home with the dedicated Rivian charger. Plug in every night to 70%. Scheduled 2-7am.

Works much better, but still hit or miss when approaching from the back. It locked on me a few times when I was standing at the tailgate. Still needs improvement, but yes it’s much better.
So I keep getting this message. Rivian guy said it’s actually updating even though the app says it’s not. Rivian guy says it “takes awhile”. It’s been 1.5 hours and I see nothing to indicate it’s done anything. Says I should wait at least another 1.5 hours.
How do you guys get other Rivian’s to wave back? Rivian’s are still very rare here in central Kansas so when my kids or I see another I we get overly excited.
