Is it possible that rivian, in their grand wisdom, are playing psychological games, encouraging new preorders by making people think there's a chance they will win the bullseye lottery and get their vehicles quickly? Just a thought...

I'd like to suggest a rank choice questionnaire of option choices. It could either help people get their vehicles quicker...or just further complicate an already screwed up and seemingly nonsensical vehicle placement system.

Wow, didn't realize NJ was on the list. Thanks for the info. I figured there were logistical reasons for the Brooklyn choice, but I am surprised NJ won't allow a service center.

In my very humble opinion, they should've chosen a location in NJ instead. The congestion in and around NYC is atrocious. 30 minutes out, say Morristown/Parsippany area, would give them highway access to the entire northeast as well as easy public transportation for NYC customers.

They are R1Ts for sure. The tell is the antenna. It would be mounted all the way back on the R1S.

The website says it's "natural-grained ash wood". So I assume they can't just put something else in there. Wouldn't that be false advertising? I take the company's word over some internet "experts".

LR4 was my favorite car I've ever owned. Such a great vehicle. That is a sweet set up right there.

It's a bit of a hike, but I'd rather go with a quality shop than take whatever's close. Since I'm waiting on an R1S, I have a bit of time before I have to shop this around, but I will definitely check them out. Thanks for the recommendation.
