Pretty awful. I usually saw about 17-18mpg. I filled the gas tank about once every week/week and a half in the Atlas.
I got the Volvo about a month ago and still have a half tank of the gas it came with. The 37 mile battery has provided for most of my and my wife's driving.
I just went from a 2018 Atlas to a 2022 XC90 hybrid while waiting for my R1S (my wife totaled the Atlas). The Atlas was so roomy for my family of 6 (we have 4 kids as well). The XC90, though smaller, is tolerable for size but otherwise really luxurious and techy inside. My wife is already trying...
Pirelli's website (https://www.pirelli.com/tires/en-us/car/catalog/product/scorpion-verde-all-season/275_55-r21/116h-xl-rivian-elect?frontId=3939500) says "...Longitudinal siping and high level lateral siping density promote greater lateral stability for all season performance including winter...
I need clarification on the snow rating of the 21s. I've pretty much only ever had all-season tires on my cars (I had Blizzaks on an Audi years ago), and never had trouble in snow with AWD.
I suggest everyone who wants all-weather floor mats or liners go over to weathertech's website (or whichever brand you prefer) and request them. I've done it on the weathertech website and it is really easy. These companies need to know there is a demand for them.
After seeing the 21" wheels here and in a few other places, I switched my configuration from the 20s to the 21s for my R1S. The 20s look better imo, but the range hit and the simple fact that this is going to be a family car vastly more than the occasional off-road drive on the beach or some...
Update: I got the XC90 Inscription T8 extended range with climate and advanced packages. Crystal white with blond leather interior. Really nice car. Definitely an upgrade from the VW Atlas. I'm enjoying the opportunity to tinker around with charging and regen before my R1S comes.
Thanks for all the feedback. Glad to hear rivian buyers have good things to say about the XC90.
It's really difficult to find right now. They're at the end of the model year, so what's out there is all that's left until October when the 2023s come out. But I found two of them. Both are pretty...
So my wife is ok, but she was driving alone in our VW Atlas when she totaled it in a collision with a driver who tried to beat a red light. Now I have to get a new family car. I was expecting to ride out the Atlas until the R1S arrived. On Thursday, the same day the email came notifying me that...
Yeah, the only way I can convince myself that this is a good thing is to remind myself that I may not have to deal with as many issues as early R1T owners have experienced.
My last vehicle was a land rover lr4. I thought it would be a good idea to ignore the air-down suggestions when driving on the beach in the outer banks...because I was driving a land rover. And land rovers can go anywhere.
Got stuck.
Some friendly fishermen dug me out and told me to air down...
