I have a 6 week old and a 2 year old (and 9 and 11 year olds). I need to have access to the young ones. I can't stick them in the 3rd row.
In my VW Atlas, I have the two little ones in the 2nd row door seats and the 11 year old in between them. The 9 year old goes in the 3rd row. The 3rd row...
The person I was in contact with informed me about a week later that they got their hands on an R1T for measurements. Not sure how long it will take for production though.
Crap, the one feature I was afraid it wouldn't have, it doesn't have. The second row seat doesn't tilt as a whole, like if you have a car seat in it, to access the third row. My VW Atlas has it, and with four kids, two of them in car seats, this is going to be a pain in the ass.
Induction cooking is the best. When I built my house 5 years ago, I took a leap of faith, having read great reviews about induction cooking. I'm really happy with it. It heats up faster than gas or electric, and the heat is much easier to control and faster to react to adjustments. I use my cast...
A tidbit I hadn't heard before: Rivian didn't lose any preorders during the pricing snafu.
I thought we may move up the line a bit with at least some backing out during that fiasco.
Windsor, CT, checking in. I remain optimistic that my launch green R1S will be delivered within my window of July-September. ?
I'd love to see a rivian in person...

Looks like we get a slightly faster charge on the first half, not a big deal, but an incremental improvement.
Cool to see they can make these types of changes with just a software update.
Seems logical that, if you are willing to take whatever is going to get you a truck sooner, you should track the adventure packages that are delivering to see what patterns emerge and switch your configuration accordingly.
From the first time I put eyes on the interior color options, this was the combo I wanted. Nice to see it rendered together. That forest edge wood is the only option for me. Not necessarily a fan of the forest edge green vegan leather; a saddle brown would be ideal, imo.
But I'm certainly not...
I like the way it looks, actually. But I would never do it to mine, simply because it isn't easily reversible.
FYI, I found a graphic that says a Toyota Tundra needs 16 liters to coat the exterior. 16 liters of water weighs about 35 lbs.
? I really hope I don't have to wait past September for my R1S. I haven't been waiting nearly as long as many of you (Sept 2020 reservation) but I'd like to have mine in the summer so I can go adventuring before the kids' school starts.
