Regarding Madison, the Shell charger worked great. Look it up on Plugshare and download the app before you get there. The app was the worst part of the charging. Also, it is a stand alone station so there are no restrooms associated with it and the BP gas station next door isn't great.
We definitely learned a lot. Mainly that DCFC still stinks.
The EA charger that we went to at a Walmart in Milwaukee only gave us about 50kW and both 350 terminals were closed.
The enel x charger in Copper Harbor didn't work most of the week. We couldn't use the app because our credit cards...
Thanks for the responses. It looks like there is an EA station being built in Green Bay. It will help a lot. Using the advice here I think I have a decent route.
I was just checking routes this morning using ABRP and it came up with something different taking me to an EA charger in Schofield WI. I checked Plugshare and that charger is listed as coming soon. I checked EA and it also says coming soon. You really have to double check everything before...
We will be taking a trip from Chicago to Copper Harbor soon and the charging situation in Wisconsin looks pretty bad. We will have to make some pretty long stops at chargers that make me a little nervous to rely on being up. I'm nervous because there aren't other chargers in their vicinity. This...
I use the chimes during navigation and when the chime happens my music or podcast (via Bluetooth) is turned down. I like how that works but the volume stays down after the chime for much longer than necessary. To me it seems like the BT volume is lowered for as long as it would take the nav to...
Specific alarm setting for when the gear guard cable is plugged in and the R1 is locked. If I have the cable locking something in the bed then I want all the notifications.
Sorry to hear about your bike.
I did put a high voltage sticker on the compressor cover above where the cables "plug" in. Before all the comments start up again about how easily cables can be cut my original point is only to make cutting the gear guard cable look like something new that the...
Yeah, and have Alexa open the garage too. I know it can be done with a smart garage door opener but I shouldn't have to buy a new opener because the R1 interface is so clunky.
Those retractable ratchet straps look great. I have family members that only need to look at my regular ratchet straps and they get tangled and knotted.
In general I prefer 2" ratchet straps over 1". They are overkill for most jobs but they seem to tangle less and have nicer ratchets. Don't be...
