I haven't seen the ultimate fusion PPF from Xpel as it just came out so it's hard for me to compare. We have always had good results from Stek and would be happy to look at yours if it's not performing as it should! We stand behind our work and would like you to be happy with your Palisade.

The SUV is about 2 feet (18 inches?) shorter than the truck and the roof on the SUV has different pilar/roof configuration of paint and glass than the truck does.

The cover will do more damage than the bugs and road contaminates. The PPF and ceramic coating will protect your clear coat and make it easier to clean when you get it back. The PPF should have had the edges heat sealed prior to you picking up and if so will not lift on the trailer ride.
