I paid through Rivian when I picked up the truck. That was a day or two before they officially got their dealer's license. Not sure if that makes a difference. I did have to pay a small fee at DMV to get my custom plates transferred.

I got mine about 2 weeks ago. Truck was picked up May 10th. I think it was roughly 6 weeks from truck to plates.

It's still in an unopened box. I bought both versions and will be using the one for the Camper Shell since I now have a bed rack installed. Haven't yet tried that one either though.

Someone did a portion of it with 21's last week with out incident. I wouldn't do it with out a spare, and would be super careful about tire placement. Those sidewalls can't be very thick, and the tread is significantly thinner than on the 20's.

Update. The failure was the boot on the air strut. The loss of air resulted in the Air Suspension Unit that regulates suspension air pressure to overheat and fail. Both those, plus any damage from driving on a bottomed-out suspension are being covered under warranty. Repair time with parts...
