I have not had any issues with the way it comes. It is much cooler than our Model Y, but is warm to the touch. While the glass gets warm, it does have some tinting that prevents it from feeling like the sun is beating down on your head or neck.
Mine works well too. Most of the time it unlocks as I am reaching for the door handle, it could be slightly faster. It locks 100% of the time about 20 yards away. The only issue I have is that when my wife and I ride together the truck always defaults to her settings.
Thanks for all the comments. I took delivery of my R1T last month and have loved it. Primarily, I use threads like these for a couple of things.
1. Checking for the same issues on my truck.
2. If found, how should I expect Rivian to resolve it

Been waiting for 8 step process to open since Friday the 15th. This hurry-up and wait stuff reminds me of my Marine Corps days. Only I used to get in trouble back then when I had idle time.
I am still waiting on getting a VIN assigned to start the 8 step process. Had a March/April delivery window, but looks like we are going to miss that. Has anyone been to the service center lately?
