False equivalency.
Musk is one of the world's wealthiest and most powerful people with a documented history of lying for massive financial gain, who has never and apparently will never own up to apologize for anything he does.

The worst-cast scenario for me (personally) is driver rear, because the chargers are at the front of the garage and I back into the garage.
I could pull in forwards, but then either:
1) If I park on the right, we couldn't get into the house
2) If I park on the left, I can't get out of the truck...
Absolutely no idea. Rivian has defined "too hot" somewhere.
Not clear to me if it's ambient or specific to the center stack display, but I suspect the latter, as I haven't had an issue since installing the screen (but the truck still gets well over 100 degrees in summer)
There is absolutely a "running AC to protect screens" mode but it's fully automatic.
I haven't had an issue since putting up a shade in the glass roof (Gen 1 so it's not active like Gen 2), but have seen it several times before that.
Mine has come off before for a repair and has never sat properly again. I don't know how many clips were destroyed in the process. It is definitely going to fall off at some point. Be careful ...
I assumed that was a scam, but I emailed them anyway. No response, been 4 days. Figured I'd at least get some half-witted attempt at asking me to send a Venmo or something.
On the coffee hierarchy, I'm not sure which is worse - day old coffee, or instant from those little Starbucks packets. K-cups are on the bottom tier, sorry folks.
Having backpacked many many times with the Starbucks packets - I'm thinking I'd prefer day-old but Kosher coffee.
Awesome thanks!
I always bring the Smeg kettle along for coffee / hot chocolate when car-camping as well - it's great. And of course a stainless steel French press. I pre-grind the coffee because I'm not a complete douchebag, and bringing an electric burr grinder would be next-level. We...
Nice!
Our Gourmia crapped out, so I picked up a knock-off on Amazon and actually rather like it. Much better set-and-forget interface, dead silent even with the circulator running, and sturdier. I'll measure energy draw later this week and report back.
Also need to figure out my induction...
I never gave this idea a single thought, but honestly it's a great one.
In California, wildfires have pretty much precluded any campfire or bbq use unless you're at an approved site (and we always boondock), so this is kinda great to set and leave.
Then reverse-sear on cast iron.

Everything they told you is BS. Sorry you're having that experience.
Call corp and talk to customer service. Assuming they sold you the correct tire in the first place, you are on solid footing. The XL is a 116-rated tire and it's perfectly suitable for the R1s.

As an example, I have two primary routes to the office, about the same speeds and one about 6 miles longer (but less traffic).
On the shorter route, I'll easily see >2.5mi/kWh r/t.
On the longer route, which is undulating for 20 miles, will see 2.2 or less. It's also often windier on...
I'm one of the few that doesn't have a problem with the nav, since it's generally accurate. This is not to discuss generally UX complaints - instead, it's a specific calculation error.
However, I am planning a trip across Nevada, using only highway 50, so actual planning is key. Heading to GB...
There's a local guy that tows a utility trailer with a Smart Four Two - see him in my neighborhood every couple weeks. I am quite sure he is insane.
And yesterday, I saw an Amazon delivery guy doing runs in his Smart. I'm pretty sure he didn't understand the job description.
Missing some key details here, my man.
Price?
What's a 20"+ premium wheel? (those are stock 21"s)
Gotta put your username and date printed in the image so we know it's actually yours
Aha, very interesting. I wonder what they found that made them slow the rollout ...
It's not urgent, only interesting, as I would very much like to change my tire size to have more accurate speedo measurements.
