Got almost 42k out of the stock 21’s; swapped out for a used set of 20’s w/AT’s (19k on em ) that I’ve put almost 10k on that I’ll swap for some Michelin AS soon the noise and efficiency hit have been huge vs the 21’s that were great and no issues all the way down to 2/32-3/32!
Consider your proximity to a Rivian service center (how far away is the closest one?) Also, contact Rivian to see how much an additional warranty would be and compare the difference to CarMax!
It’s also this new high rate in TN! It’s now cheaper to seek out Tesla stops even without the membership! $0.10 still at home where I charge 95% of the time…
I’ve used an air bed with the tailgate down… got a full size that fits perfectly snug but a double will work as well while putting a standard 10x10’ easy up awning over the bed for cover… A bug netting would be needed for any months they are out…
Every time you open the app it wakes the vehicle consuming energy… using the vehicle cameras consumes that much more… being cold outside cold soaks the battery so it will show less range than when you parked the battery warm… all these contributing factors are equal to the loss you are seeing….
I would set your off peak times weekday and your weekend off peak on the daily set the different hours you need and there is a toggle on/off that you can use to change between them…
41k on the stock 21’s stock tires 2.46 w/about 500 miles of that towing a heavy boat.
3k on the stock 20’s w/stock AT’s (19k on tires when purchased) averaging about 2.1 no towing.
I know this is an intended design… but this can’t be great for long term viability for the motor(s) internals and lifespan… Unless absolutely necessary I’ve been selecting a parking lot or neighboring business to route to instead; but obviously this is drastically different for me here in TN vs...
In my Gen 1 I can set scheduled charging from the truck (right side of screen) or the app. In the app select weekday(M-F)/daily(Every Day) and highlight the time if the UOT hours differ… This should get you set… Hopefully they will update it soon like the climate schedule settings where you can...
Yea the threads are completely gone I only got two shots at it but with it being over torqued over 120lbs it will not break loose Vice grips won’t hold to that force on the bolt as it’s wedged against the metal… ?
Reviving an old thread… got to the final bolt on my board install and it was stripped before hand when it was put in I’m guessing by factory or service center prior to delivery… I tried taping my Torx bit and overlaying with aluminum foil thought I had a good bite, but it is completely gone…...
I have blended regen/brake off and hear a slight squeak but usually under 5-10mph… I’m wondering if the vehicle is applying braking regardless of setting… However, that video is scary that sounds like a locked caliper and vehicle should not be driven or could experience a catastrophic failure or...
I have to toggle mine off after updates or resets only. But if I leave my wifi on it interferes with my hotspot built in and none of our devices connected work… only after I disable the vehicle wifi will the hotspot then work… not sure why ?‍♂️
