Are you are referring to the Tesla to J1772 adapter? That is for adapting J1772s to Tesla Destination Chargers and not Tesla Superchargers, unless something has changed recently. I believe that was what the OP was asking if i'm not mistaken. If you were intending something different, then my bad.
I can only assume you mean "receiver" as opposed to "ball mount hitch" the latter of which is likely not included. That will be cool if they did though! A lot of people use the terms hitch when they really mean receiver. I'm not sure what you intended, however.
Yup! Same here. It's strange that that mini seems to have a bigger sleeping compartment yet a smaller overall footprint than the 2x version. The sleeping orientation is different as well. I'll have to give them a call to really dial in the differences. The are quite pricey though.....which is...
Anyone have any personal experience, opinions, hysterical stories, etc. regarding roof top tents and available options/brands?
Since we are going the R1S route, I think it might be a great fit once we know the crossbars will work. I was looking at the iKamper brand. www.ikamper.com. Other...
Thanks for the numbers breakdown. Based on that, and when looking at my particular expected use/needs, I still feel the 40A will more than suffice for me. Good to know the calculations though for future reference.
The 2 and 2.5 miles per kWh hour reference is an interesting mention. Worth a...
Good to hear some real world scenarios. Thanks. I'm planning to go the Level 2 house route, so I think I'll definitely be fine with the 40A for my particular needs (unless there are some crazy things I'm not contemplating), which are definitely not the same as most. I do use a work vehicle...
Interesting. From what I’ve read and watched to date, which apparently were the wrong sources if what you’re saying is correct, even 32A would be mostly sufficient. FYI. I’m not looking to fill the vehicle from empty every night. I highly doubt I’d be even 1/3 to half empty 95 percent of the...
I like the Enel X JuiceBox plug-in 40 (Nema 14-50) myself. Will be interesting to see if there will be a collaboration, whether a package discount or other cool benefits, between Enel X and Rivian. I like the WiFi or "smart features" of the Juicebox, as smart features are the way of the future...
Someone needs to bust out the tape measurer over at the factory!
First link below says 81 inches when folded. Individual vehicle specs pages say 79. Transformers are real!

Another reason I don't mind pushing my order to Jan 2022, and not going with the LE. I want to hear some real world mileage reports over time. I currently have the 21's configured. I'll happily switch to the 22s if the range reduction is just a negligible hit, ESPECIALLY if they announce the...
Rivian themselves are denoting that the 21" wheels will provide the best range of the three wheel options, in that:
"Our 20" forged wheels have all-terrain tires for enhanced off-road capability. Our 21" wheels feature all-season tires for the best range. Our 22" wheels come with all-season...
True. Thanks, but I was just joking around. I’m pretty settled on the 5 seater. I personally will never have the need for the 7 seater. I’m not concerned about resale and it will just be a cleaner look for me. Additionally, it grants me more time for stuffing pennies in the piggy bank, and...
After an extensive internal debate, I stuck with the 5 seat option!!! I was bullied mercifully on here to choose the LE. I almost gave in to peer pressure. I have a lot of injuries from college due to giving in easily. I think I'm starting to learn. Yet, I'll probably change my mind again...
