...or Denver. There's effectively nothing in the middle of the country. Denver seems like the perfect spot for a massive portion of the middle states that are under-served when it comes to EVs.
I get that many will say that it's more of a function of lack of demand versus the projected supply...
We use the air suspension on our Model S's due to ground clearance issues when it snows or the occasional bump/dip. I use it a lot less years later than I did when we first started driving them. Now it's more when we hit some automatic car washes that still use the gutter-style system as these...
I couldn't care less about that, just need the fold flat front seats.
ETA: since you edited your post after I replied, here's my reply to your edited post:
Just the seats. Leveling suspension isn't a necessity for car camping.
This is THE reason we reserved an R2. We camp in our Teslas quite frequently and have for 6-7 years now. That feature alone made us want an R2. I'll wait to see if this changes before production starts but if they're truly removing it we'll be getting our reservation deposit back, sadly.
Available for immediate delivery. Please read fully before contacting me as most all questions should be answered. All optional equipment listed so if you don't see it, it's not included. Please feel free to reach out with any questions that aren't addressed below. Not interesting in any trade...
I spoke with my salesperson and he said that this wouldn't be an issue at all to let someone else buy the truck whom I brought to the table if I decided to not take delivery.
If they can find a way to deliver me a truck or SUV (preferably the latter) in the next few weeks I'd write them a check. The only problem is that I haven't yet taken any of the steps required to put me on their radar even if they had an extra vehicle slip through the cracks that suddenly became...
Wait... this is a real thing?! I seriously thought it was a joke. Like clickbait headline to get eyes on.
Balloon payment loans are awful products for the consumer even on appreciating assets like real estate. But to do this on a depreciating asset like a vehicle... run.. don't walk from this...
I couldn't do it. It's just a pick-up truck. An expensive one at that. I'd escalate that until I got someone who could fix it or I let them sell it to someone else. That's me though & I fully recognize that I'm willing to do more out of principle than others.
Good to know. Whenever somebody says all-white dash I sort of picture in all-white dash. Just trying to prevent somebody from making an expensive decision that they'll probably regret.
I would strongly recommend against getting an all white dash in anything. It produces horrible glares off of the windshield and I don't know anybody who's custom wrapped a dash full white and not regretted the decision.
Great point. My dealer may just be blowing smoke up my skirt (the hell does that phrase even mean?) but they're talking like my Lightning could potentially get built within the next month or so. In a perfect world I could potentially take delivery of the Lightning in 2022 then I'd be all set for...
That would be funny if it weren't true. I was among the first to reserve a Ford Lightning (literally had the credit card charge confirmation 3min from when the opened pre-orders) and yet... No 2022. I see an awful lot of influencers driving 2022's though. I guess it sounds like Rivian isn't much...
This is some of the data that I was analyzing that lead me to create this post seeking further information. If I order what you've described it would exceed the $80k limit which defeats the purpose of trying to get one sooner. If I'm not getting the tax incentive I'd rather just order exactly...
That also explains why I wasn't able to actually place an order online. Last time I spec'd one out (albeit with far fewer options) I could actually submit the order.
Not sure I'll be interested in 2024 still but, maybe. I go through vehicles pretty commonly as stated so it's not really a...
That makes sense. When I built one recently with the goal of keeping it under $80k I arrived at a silver/black AWD w/ middle battery pack. The last time I built one out I didn't recall dual motors being an option or 3 pack choices. Explains the new differences if that's for the new model year...
