Good news. I don't mind waiting a few weeks so that I can have shipping info included. I live on a corner so my street address isn't the same street that the packages get delivered on and it confuses a lot of drivers even though I have my address numbers visible in 4 spots....
I've already determined that is not the case, which is why I'm wondering. Stuff often gets misdelivered on its way to me, which makes this whole "surprise manual tonneau cover" thing stressful.
First guy on here that got the cover had a March delivery.
Have you ever tried to use the rainx rock chip repair on amazon? Right out of highschool I repaired rock chips as a job with a professional set, and that little thing isn't half bad. Did a great job on the last rock chip we got on my wifes car...
I took delivery in December and ordered the tonneau with the truck, all quiet on the western front. At this point, I am not surprised by Rivian's decision making process. Honestly, I'm not even upset. I'm sure I'll get it s00n and am excited to put it on.
Saw the reddit thread on this and...
Thank you for doing the lord's work. If this works well and the rails don't inhibit the opening of the bed too much I might return the OEM manual for this, but we'll see
I've had zero alignment issues.
Actually I've had zero issues outside delivery defects that have been fixed (minus the wait for the tonneau being a bit silly).

Just did a bit of research, for all the naysayers for Volvo being made in china (in general I'm MIC avoidance), but the Geely group manufacturers over 2M vehicles per year, and 20k BEV vehicles per month. Probably more BEV vehicle then that now (that figure was January 2022).
I don't love...
Not trying to persuade anyone from dropping any R1 reservations. At first I thought we were going to hold out for an R2 for the wife (who knows, maybe we will someday), but this thing looks too good to be true! The price is excellent.

I just switched back to state farm in April. Guess I got in right under the mark. Kind of stupid as I live in a metro area which has an almost non-existent fire rate.
I read an article that they're pulling out of CA because it's no longer profitable due to CA insurance regulations (all...
Given the relative lack of issues I've had so far (and a manual tonneau on the way which won't break), I feel comfortable owning this truck out of warranty. I will likely sell it before the battery warranty expires though, for a new Rivian...
