Damn- that's about the only time I wish I still lived in Corona...
I'll give them a call. I've lived with both of these issues for some time, so a few more months shouldn't hurt.
Just tried to schedule an appointment for my noisy front half shafts (they've been like this for a while now but deciding to do something about it). Also, I have a weird issue with my front suspension going to max height randomly on the first stop after coming out of kneel mode.
Tried to...
I thought this same thing back in the day while we were still waiting on deliveries. Someone on the forum said, "don't you want to stress the suspension while it is still under warranty?".
I thought to myself, "thats a great point" and have never looked back. Even with Kneel mode at 5'10"...
I went with the lomax cover. 0 regrets. the ability to flip it up without pulling the whole thing out is what sealed it for me. Seems super durable too.
2nd this. Luke got me the cover at an excellent price. Very happy with the cover and I see it lasting a very long time. For my purpose, this beats out the manual and power cover (Power only due to reliability).
Great news. I had the $800 pricing on the manual tonneau, but given the very questionable construction I think this is the better route. Does the manual look better? Probably. Is it as durable and convenient? Absolutely not. While my truck is in the garage I'll be able to crack open the...
Similar recent experience, but not nearly as bad.
Costa mesa service center.
My truck got stuck in an update and after working with service for over an hour they determined it needed to go in on "emergency service." When was emergency service you ask? still 9 days out. This would have...
Awesome. 100% made up my mind. Thought I was going to hold out for the manual tonneau, but the fact that they hadn't shipped mine yet, and for my use case the lomax makes way more sense (flipped vs. pull out all the sections). Also, the durability lomax wins hands down.
I'm ordering the...
Could you please comment on the durability of the matte finish thus far? A few folks on the ford forum said it scratches easier and is harder to clean than the urethane finish, but I much prefer the look of the matte. Cancelled my pre price increase manual tonneau yesterday and am going the...
I'm interested in the Matte finish. On your ridgelines did you have the matte finish and can you comment on its durability? It appears the urethane finish is more durable, but I much prefer the looks on the matte.
THANK YOU!
I think I've made up my mind to cancel the manual tonneau and go with Lomax. I don't love how it sits on top, but it has proven long term quality+reliability, and I like not having to pull the entire thing out as I'm frequently throwing stuff in the back in my garage..
Gosh these photos really have me questioning whether taking delivery of the manual cover at $800 is a good call or not. I golf a lot, so having the cover folded back on the standoffs could be very useful for me when moving clubs to and from. And if I decide to go out after the game, lock it...
Great write up!
These work great to fix the air compressor door. I had the same issue. I don't take credit for this as I found these somewhere on this forum. One well placed magnet will do the job :)
