Good to know. My only towing experience until now was with my '13 Toyota FJ, pulling a trailer with 3 motorcycles in it, probably about 2500 lbs total. My mpg dropped from 17 to 11 or so, which was good for about 170 miles a tank. That's the difference a torquey diesel makes, I guess!

Curious - much does your range go down towing the Airstream with the R1? Vs how much did your mpg go down towing the Airstream with your ICE? Obviously less of an issue due to abundance of gas stations but I'm curious anyway.

Re doors taking unusual amount of force to slam shut: Could we get the windows cracked open just a little - automatically when the door is opened - then closed again after door is shut?

That's irrelevant. You could put two and two together that it was a matter of time. I don't disagree that camera bumps suck, but that's childish for them to willfully ignore an impending problem because they "don't prefer" their customer's phone (if that's what you mean?)

The iPhone 6 came out in 2014. That was a long time ago for someone to realize this was going to be a problem and think about a pivot.
