The ride will actually be more comfortable on the 20s since the tires are beefier and soak up more of the bumps. At the same time they're going to be louder though. Partially offset by the RUS :).

I think comparison reviews aren’t ridiculous at all. Typical reviews are just based on ann arbitrary bar (e.g. “the ride is firm” means nothing until you compare that to some other known reference): you can’t quantity that until you start pitting each element against those in another vehicle...

I wonder if a sheet metal cover which spans that gap, could be offered to folks as an extra optional accessory? For those who would rather not leave that all exposed. Like reuse those same bolts to hold it down on the surface of the slider and RUS, and maybe some foam to prevent rattling?

At this point I wouldn’t even be mad if Rivian offered to enable CarPlay for a fee. I’d pay anything to end the suffering that is the default nav & media UI lol.
