FYI - Offroad Rally mode is your friend. This turns off the cross-linked Tenneco/McLaren bits which softens up the ride (it does this in any of the offroad modes) but gives you some slip and a responsive sport-like throttle response. It is fantastic fun and eats up the bumps and washboards...
I drove a BMW i4 M50 over the weekend and the fake sounds were absolutely terrible. It sounded kind of like an engine and shattered what could have been a serene experience. I have no idea if they can be turned off, but what hubris...
It would not based on my experience. The TFL guys are all quite smooth brained and have no clue about many things. I'm going to guess that they don't know that Rivians have a launch mode built in. Sport mode> step on the brake, floor it, release brake.
The people suggesting RainX are (sorry), clueless. Use a high quality + modern long-lasting super hydrophobic polymer such as that found in Turtle Wax's inexpensive Seal & Shine. If your lights are PPF'd and you want the absolute best for that kind of surface, check out GTechniq's Halo (it's...
The service guy 100% fixed my issue by applying what looked like electrical tape to the inside of the plastic support piece the trim adheres to. Basically this made it expand outwards and the seal could do its job.
I use the 48A Lectron daily due to my Tesla Gen2 EVSE that I have in my garage. I charge at the full 48 amps with it and 99% of the time it works very well. However, it does generate quite a bit of heat, and I've seen charging stop a couple of times when it's plugged in and charging for hours...
I just installed the updated app and it... looks different! 72 is indeed the default and it will almost certainly require a truck update as well to set it. Also, if you want the new app and are on Android just search the app store for it and click update.
I did basically the same thing to mine right down to the front window with Air 90 (Sunbusters in Austin is fantastic!) with the exception of using the slightly higher end Stratos tint from the same company. I waffled on the roof tint, but finally decided to do it. I do not regret it in the...
A service center guy told me today that a single click upon engagement of the drivetrain is normal. A squeak + click (or repeated clicks) is not normal. He also said a small amount of movement from the halfshaft is normal as well.
Wow, well I definitely have the exact same issue that Snazzy Labs had/has. It's definitely gotten far worse over the past couple weeks. There's a distinct click and feeling of looseness and slack in the drivetrain and the squeaking is very much present. I can hear it up to 40mph. I filed a...
You do you, but this is so terrible and so ugly in so many ways. Debadging is very chav in that it started as a trend to hide the fact that you got the cheap model. The lights tinting thing is teenager cringe from the 1990s. Got a ricer or a V6 Mustang? Tint the tailights!
The outer vents can be fixed by turning them off for 10 seconds.
I have the same door issues as you. You can adjust this with the bolts on the door slightly.
See this page of this thread:
one door is pretty horribly formed among other issues (still love the truck overall, though) | Page 5 |...
