I had written this in one of the other threads, but i went with Michelin X-Ice Snow SUV tires in 275/60R20. I live in CT. We typically get decent snowfalls and we take ski trips to VT often. They are mounted to a set of wheels from Tire Rack and sitting in my garage.

Just got my snow setup delivered from tire rack. really like the look of the wheels. i think they are going to look great on the R1S!

a lot easier than getting my own and having them ship unmounted wheels and tires to me or an installer :) Also, don't forget the cost of programming them yourself ($100 device) or paying to have them come pre-programmed. It's a wash.

which blizzaks did you go with? even on 20" sizes, it seems the options are quite limited for snow tires since most are just standard load not XL, even if the load index is right.

I don't have an answer for you but i will say i am having a similar experience with my "guide". as it gets closer to pickup, last minute questions are just ignored it seems. Very frustrating.
