Those are the snow tires I installed last year. They were $250 each in December of 2022. The 115 load rating is fine, some of R1T's shipped with 115 load rating tires and others with 116.
The OP is talking about an AT tire, probably not yet listed on the website, but available for dealers to...
I just placed the order for my spare tire and kit but have to wait 2 months now for my service appointment. I will have to closely see what kit I end up getting. Maybe it will be an early Xmas experience that I had pay good money for.
Interesting to hear. I am near Portland and I have to wait 45 days for service. This is after they originally scheduled a mobile appt and the day of the mobile appt, they called me and said that is not something they can do at a mobile appt. I have been to the Portland, then Tualatin SC twice...
I beg to differ, WA state is very pro EV and we have to pay an additional tax every year at renewal time. It varies if you are PHEV or BEV, with BEV being the higher amount.
Thank you for the update, much appreciated. I look forward to my sliders s00n then. I am also frustrated with FedUp, hopefully your hard work including rethinking shipping boxes will make things smoother.
Good god, the last one shipped was 1942? I ordered on Dec 31st, but I am order 2763. I am hoping that the 800 orders in between were for running boards and not sliders and that they will arrive sometime this summer.
I swap tires on the same wheels. The winter tires (Michelin X-Ice) were perfect when I switched back to the OEM tires after the winter, I ended up with a tire shake. Discount tire did a road force balance and said one of the tires was too high on the balance requirements. We solved the problem...
Does it lock in the folded up position enough where you can drive highway speeds. I often have to take garbage cans to the dump (island life) and don't want to have to remove the cover to use the full bed.
It is about aerodynamics and wind noise. Wipers out of the airflow don't make noise and don't contribute to the drag. As others have mentioned that is what service mode is for.
I wish I would get it sooner, but it is always a week or so after the masses get it. The last one with ABRP integration would have been nice BEFORE my road trip but instead I got it 2 days after.
I am heading on another road trip on Thursday morning, so I expect the update to be available to me...
Happy to see progress, even it if moves like molasses, there is movement.
What changes are you going to make (other the the powered cover)? Color, tires, interior, etc?
I would really love to be able to have more than one "home" location, where I can disable proximity locking. Lets face it, some of us spend a lot of time at fixed location away from home, be it work (office or jobsite), second home, etc.
How hard would it be to be able to add additional locations?
Do you have a pic of the bronze ones on a black R1T?
Also, for the ones with the tire option, do you offer the OEM tire height (33") (21 & 22" wheels), rather than the (34" height) to facilitate easier winter/summer swapping without having to reprogram the truck everytime.
