Ok, so I happened to have the front end apart while having some body work done. It appears from my shop worker that the factory horns are pretty tight behind the air intake ducting. There's no room for anything larger in the factory position. ?
Hold on now... do you know what she was doing?
I used to drive for Uber and the app would often have me arriving on the wrong side of the street. Instead of making the rider cross traffic, I would sometimes pull up to the left curb to get the rider.
Of course, when I did this I had my hazards...
I don't want to see any EV maker fail, TBH. We need all the adoption we can get because while each EV manufacturer works through the kinks, the gas guzzlers are laughing at us.
I went from the Mach-E to the R1T, but can't help with the R1S.
If I can answer anything on R1T dynamics that are shared with the R1S (power, charging, etc) feel free to ask.
Rivian service has stated that the charging cord and the wall box itself are all one piece and cannot be separated. Due to this being user error, they aren't able to replace at free of charge so I've had to puchase another wall box.
Just leaving this for future peeps who may find the thread.
But you have no way of knowing what the ratio is of those who care, and those who do not, among those thousands. Already in this thread you've got more like a 1:2 ratio of those who care and those who do not. This means OP's hypothesis is not disproven.
The data says that an employee with shares in the company wouldn't be at all dissuaded by the constant free-fall of the stock price?
Stock price may not matter to all, but certainly to some. Data trends and analysis can't be applied to all.
You're missing the point. OP is suggesting that RJ and other C-level executives, who have the option to buy/sell their personally owned shares, should make a purchase to show that RJ et al. believe the company is undervalued and will only strengthen into the future.
For reference, when I...
You may or may not have seen the video of my Rivian R1T sliding down my driveway in the snow. It was plugged into my wall charger at the time and when it separated from the charger it broke the cable handle.
I'm looking to purchase just the cable (from bottom of wall box to the handle) or a...
That's fortunate that it still charges. As shown below, one of my pins came out. I am sure a good electrician could probably fix it to still work but not sure how safe it would be.
Fortunately, it only broke the charger handle. Metal pins are now exposed as the plastic surround was shattered. I still need to get time to test the charging port on the truck, but it doesn't look visually disturbed at all.
