If you want one I can mail you one if you cover postage. I have been debating selling this stuff on eBay and donating the proceeds to charity. Not a coffee drinker lol.
I made a post here a few weeks back about car seats, getting into the 3rd row, etc. I emailed them asking if they had any details on that to share since I have all these kids to get into it. Was not expecting a swag box as I didn't even know that was a thing.
I emailed customer service about the car seat situation and having a herd of children to put in the R1S. They sent me this with a hand written note about our interaction.
Now please no hate. I ordered an R1S about a month ago. I've sent a few msgs to Rivian CS asking about child seats and 3rd row. I did receive my poster thing a few weeks back.
Will see what I get....
Tesla recommends when not driving the car they should be plugged into the wall. I would simply use the HPWC to quickly get the car to 80% then move it to the 110 to keep it at 80%. There are 2 drivers in my house and with the R1S there will be 3 cars. I think a 110 trickle charge will be...
I currently have 2 Teslas - 1 charging with a HPWC and 1 charging off UMC on a 50A 14-50 outlet. My plan at this point is to keep both cars and get the R1S.
I think the 2 Teslas can use the HPWC as the primary charging method - get them to 80% quickly - and then flip 1 of the cars to a 110...
I own 2 Teslas with FSD. They taking exits, overtake cars, get me to my destination with minimal interaction, and I arrive generally rested w/o fatigue. The FSD package is/was worth it to me. I also have a child that will some day need a self driving car. The entire disabled community really...
I'm about 190 miles from Rivian and got my fingers crossed on an R1S. I did however order a month or so ago. Gut says late 2022 or maybe 2023.
Mostly excite to see the first deliveries and how good/bad things are...
Those worried about the $1000 be reminded you can dispute that on your credit card. Federal law only mandates a 60 day dispute window, but many CC companies allow disputes to happen longer after the charge. I have successfully disputed charges that were 6 to 12 months late. Most of them were...
Tesla delivers about the same number as they make, so it's possible of a close 1:1. The real question is still how many can they make per-day and how many they have to make to fulfill preorders.
