Nearest EV competitor is a Model X when looking at the R1S. Many pre-order folks considered both these cars. I have an X and am getting a R1S.

Part of me is expecting them to do what Tesla has done - continue to optimize via software. Get a software download to jump it to 330 miles. Tesla has done that many times which is pretty awesome.

I swapped back to the 20s for now. I'm still a bit disappointed they couldn't get higher eMPG. I just look at the Tesla Model X with 100 KW battery pack and 105 eMPG vs the R1S with 135 KW battery pack and 70 eMPG. I get the aerodynamics, weight, etc. I was just expecting more power train...

The eMPG efficiency seems pretty bad in comparison to Tesla. I might be going back to the 21s as many of us are considering.
