  1. Seat (space under)

Unfortunately your stick can't put it out either. Hahaha. Just gotta let it burn.
  2. Seat (space under)

Seriously. These things should be banned. You have to put yourself in extreme danger to use this ineffective stick. You wouldn't be able to even get close enough to a vehicle fire to attempt this worthless thing. Your skin would literally melt off. Take those things out of your trucks. False...
  3. Seat (space under)

Looks worse than no fire extinguisher. If an emergency tool doesn't work as expected, it definitely creates an extreme hazard to the user.
  4. Video: Rivian house power backup of critical loads WITHOUT waiting for bi-directional charging to be implemented by Rivian

Closer to 4-5% when ambient < 25°F -- Literally the worst thing about the Rivian ownership experience.
  5. Version 2023.06.00 "Internal Beta" Software Update Notes

All welcome updates but priorities I want are 1) Vampire drain to near zero 2) Dashcam recording
  6. RAN question: why the love for Michigan?

Most of the initial development for Rivian was done in Michigan. The original design and engineering was done in Michigan. The original founding members and engineers were mostly Michigan natives. Rivian has deep roots in Michigan so it's not that surprising.
  7. Some Quick Math on Electrical Grid CO2 Emissions and Vampire Drain

I turn climate off. Gear guard off. PAAK is always off. Wifi off. Keyfob put away in faraday. Bluetooth turned off. App killed. Still seeing 4%+ per day. Shit is getting on my nerves.
  8. RAM 1500 REV REVEALED! ? Sign in if you've reserved ??‍♂️

Same body and bed though put on the STLA frame to accommodate the battery pack and drive components. This isn't a ground up design.
  9. RAM 1500 REV REVEALED! ? Sign in if you've reserved ??‍♂️

Understood. But you can't ignore that the 9000 ton gigapress is being assembled in Austin this very moment.
  10. RAM 1500 REV REVEALED! ? Sign in if you've reserved ??‍♂️

Right. This would have been a hit if it was RELEASED along side the Ford Lightning. This is just too far behind the market with an end of 2024 target. 2nd Gen ground up Ford Lightning will be going into production 2025 right behind this. Cybertruck will also likely be fully ramped by the time...
  11. RAM 1500 REV REVEALED! ? Sign in if you've reserved ??‍♂️

Too little too late. You can hate it all the want, but the Cybertruck will already be in full production by the time this hits lots and the price to specs comparison will be so drastic that even those that hate the cybertruck look won't be able to justify paying more for the make shift REV. It's...
  12. Vampire drain - what's the latest battery % loss people are getting?

Pretty stinking bad. About day and a half worth of household power for my family leaked out of your truck over your trip. Long duration is close to ideal as truck has opportunity for deep sleep. I think your overnight would be worse hour to hour. Don't fret, mine is close to 3-4% / day at...
  13. Software Version 2023.02.0 [beta] -- Improved EPA range, key fob firmware, new door ajar notification, steering improvement & more...

2% per night is atrocious. We as customers shouldn't be accepting of the drain. No reason we shouldn't be on par with Lightning (1% or less per week)
  14. Rated X: Full Frontal Cybertruck

It's very raked so impacts more likely to skip off. I doubt their windshields are nearly as fragile as our fuyao wind screens, especially considering they are trying to get them to be "armored".
  15. Official Rivian Stories: R1T SOFTWARE UPDATE DETAILS - English - Version 2023.02.03

This is big daily upgrade to by satisfaction. I'm strictly on keyfob and the delay and double/triple clicking can get annoying at times.
  16. Any tests done on Vampire battery drain?

Lost 7% over 29 hours. No gear guard or proximity. Zero unlocks or openings. Key in faraday pouch. 5.8% per 24 hours. 30-40 ambient. Terrible :(
  17. Can I charge from this outlet?

Just keep it at 40amps or lower on plugs. The portable charger would work good.
