Picked up in Normal yesterday morning (factory tour, swag, the works — my guide is the best!) Currently in OK, driving to Dallas for thanksgiving. I love this truck! I’ll make a better post in the delivery forum when I arrive. PS: definitely not going the wrong way. ;)

Earlier preorder, but switching was a huge benefit to my delivery speed. I was stuck at April-July ‘23. Once I switched, I was locked and had a guide in less than 24 hours, 8 steps 1 week later, pickup 4 days later (this coming Tuesday).

April 2023 was the opening date for my R1S window (also yellow/oc). R1T CY+OC order windows start in January, but that's ignoring the ones that were recently built -- one of which is sitting in Normal and has my name on it. I was sent to the head of line the instant I switched to the truck...

Yeah - my guide changed mine to manual tonneau as well. Still in "Configuration confirmed" and "Processing estimate" also. Now I'm refreshing the page even more ;p

I read someone's post about a similar situation ages ago, where their guide found them a truck and said that it would be matched, but weeks (months?) went by and it just never happened. My guide tells me that there is a manual step involved in the matching process, that the truck is soft...

April 2019 R1S pre-order. I switched to R1T last week. Less than 24 hours later my configuration was locked and I had a guide. She found a truck very close to my spec — just waiting on the VIN to get attached to my account now so the 8 steps can begin. I’m…. Cautiously optimistic :cool:

Thousands of people reserved an R1S before you. Why do you think you should you get a free pass to the head of the line?

I'm not convinced there's any connection between that estimate and the production line to begin with, outside of roughly when they were planning to make a vehicle matching your major options as of the last time the estimator updated (once a quarter). I have seen report after report of people...

Less than 24 hours later, configuration locked and guide assigned. Finally!

Fed up with the April-June 2023 estimate for my April 2019 R1S reservation, I switched mine to an R1T this afternoon. Yellow + OC, so who knows... waiting to see what happens.

I had a CarGurus valuation (EV6 with 3k miles) plummet from $49k to $37k over the last 3 weeks. The market appears to be tanking.
