Just so you know, we know how to do charging here in Montana! :-) This is the public charger that I have mentioned previously that is only 120 miles from my home (currently the closest public charger). Our snow stays fully charged all the time!
5 years ago I bought a build to order Ford F350 Super Duty. Very useful truck but the train ride from Kentucky to Spokane, WA took 4 weeks! This was way before the covid excuses and there were no train shortages, delays, etc. That is just how long it took.
Mine was Q4 2022 but then got "updated" to "processing estimate". My guess is that on January 31st, 2023 I will get another "update" that puts it to some similarly useless state like "processing estimate" and they will inform everyone that they will give us an update in April of 2023. As Steve...
Thanks. I did put an entry on PlugShare after this suggestion but I really want to make this mainly available for my fellows Rivianaires. Of course, we get so little EV traffic around here I doubt I will ever get a call from a PlugShare person. If I do get swamped by plugshare people I will...
This thread is to serve as a way to connect Rivian owners who may be traveling in areas far from public chargers and find themselves in need of some charge so they can get to the level 3 chargers. I suggest that if you are willing to host someone that you put a note on this forum with your...
A quick question: Is there such a thing as a Rivian Owners assist forum? I just had my charger installed (Rivian set at 48 amp) and am still months or years away from delivery (R1S ordered 10/2020) but it made me think that there are no public chargers anywhere near me, closest being 125 miles...
Mine was at the 3.00... and wouldn't update but I noticed the app showed blank for the wifi. I re-paired, re-connected to the wifi and within one day it updated me to V03.01.49
Just an update: I am in "Processing Estimate" so I may not see the R1S for years. I did get the charger installed though so I will be ready for it when it does finally show up :)
I'm sort of taking the Processing Estimate status as a combo of "You are S.O.L." and "We really don't know or care if or when we are going to deliver your vehicle". As I said in another post: Rivian's rotten communications and messaging causes actual pain to their customers. I recently sold my...
I went from delivery in Q4 of 2022 to "Processing estimate": "We plan to refresh your estimate every three months. Currently, those updates are planned for January, April, July, and October of each calendar year." Given the pattern that means that at the end of January I will be told that I only...
This is getting weird. In early September they said "big announcement at the end of September", At the end of September they said "Delivery estimates at the end of October". At the end of October they said "Processing estimate" without telling anyone what that meant. Now folks are checking in to...
