Agreed - never said anything about charging to 100% at fast chargers unless you're taking a longer stop for other reasons. Then it doesn't make sense not to.

Yeah, I like this set up as well. You can also toggle the second screen to show all the upcoming alerts coming up on your route. That's how I keep mine set for most road trips.

So once we're paying for connect +, will the priority updates put us in the same position as wifi connected vehicles? I hope so, since my R1S is pretty much never connected to wifi. Yes, I could connect it through my phone - but just a pain to do to maybe get an update earlier.

The benefit of Sirius/XM is it's programmed content and you can just turn it on anywhere with a clear view of their satellite - no pre planning or downloading required.

It's far from outdated and dead if travel in places without quality data signal. It's still the thing I miss most from my previous vehicle audio systems.

You have Spotify/Tidal/hotspot right? Free data was supposed to end many months ago. You've effectively had a free trial since you bought the vehicle.

It's wild. Hotspot alone is worth $15/month.
